it home learning lesson 2

William Shakespeare is a 16th century poet and english playwright. Born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon. He is often referred as England's national poet. Among all his works only 2 long narrative poems, a few other poems survived and 154 sonnets . Though he is one of England best poet at the initial stages of his career he was not very popular and was also condemned by some critics. I chose to talk about him because i feel that he is one of the world's greatest writer whether plays or poems. He defied the trend of writing classic plays in his time, instead he wrote revolutionary romantic, tragic plays and comedies. Though his surviving long narrative poems are based on erotic themes his other sonnets are not all based on erotic themes. I think his poems are quite literally in depth. His thinking is revolutionary and he dares to think out of the box he believes that people will gradually understand and like his poems

T3week1 IT home learning lesson1

All the World's a Stage by William Shakespeare
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

AF 447

There has been no news of AF 447 since AF 447 lost contact with the airports. This misfortune if no survivors are found, it is the worst aviation disaster in more than a decade. Initially there was debris found in the sea but after confirmation authorities said that it does not belong to the Air France plane. Now Brazillian and French authorities are racing against time to find the black box which records what had happen in the cockpit. The plane set to leave Rio De Janerio and to arrive at Paris had 228 passengers on board most of them were Brazillian.

first case of h1n1 in malaysia

The H1N1 is getting closer to us. From Japan to Hong Kong , Thailand now our neighbor Malaysia. I believe Singapore is well prepared for it and be able to handle it but lets use our singaporean sprit which is being"Kiasu". I think not only the government needs to be well prepared we should also take care of ourselves and observe basic courtesy.

Engish test

today was my english test. I flustered. My class was not well prepared for the test as my LA teacher took a long-term medical leave. I just wish that my results would not be atrocious.
